To say that man is created in the image and likeness of God means that man is called to exist "for" others, to become a gift.
--John Paul II, Mulieris Dignitatem
It's so exciting to sew your own clothes, isn't it?! The fabric you used is so bright and cheery, which is very nice when you are stuck with a week of gloomy weather. (~like we've had more than enough of around here lately!)And most importantly, it appears that it would pass the "twirl test". Miss Posy always has to have a skirt that passes the "twirl test", a property that is a must to any real skirt.... according to Miss Posy, anyway;) It looks like you did an excellent job on the hem too! ~That's one thing I always dread about making skirts....especially twirly ones...hemming them! They always give me no end of grief... Anyways, great job, Cmerie! (And sorry that this is so lengthy!)Hope you and yours have a wonderful weekend!
