The Waiting Place

...for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
or waiting around for a Yes or No
or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite
or waiting around for Friday night
or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake
or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants
or a wig with curls, or Another Chance.
Everyone is just waiting.
-Dr. Seuss

That's where I'm at. I ordered my diapers for Ladybug on Sunday evening, and they should be here today or tomorrow and I'm just beside myself with WAITING.

Is it wrong to be this excited about diapers? There is a world out there that I never knew existed. The world of cloth diapers. The science behind laundering them. The best way to get stains out. Which covers are the best, the cheapest, the most leak proof. Overnight and naptime diapers. I'll tell you, with the amount that I've read on them in the past few days, my head is spinning, and I'm not even sure I've soaked in all the information. Maybe I'm just not as absorbent as a Chinese Premium Prefold. *He*.

I couldn't resist.

Now, back to waiting.

*Edited to note: I just got an email from Cotton Babies that said my order will not be in until Tuesday. *sigh* More waiting. Did I mention that I'm no good at waiting?
