Lightening Storm

I had never seen so much lightening in my life. We opened all the blinds in the apartment and sat and watched the storm. Have you ever been in a dark room with a strobe light flashing? That's what this was like. My hubby wanted us to sit out on the balcony and watch the storm, but I was too scared, and much more content to sit on the floor of our living room.

I've heard that this storm was one of the worst in the history of this area. On our way to Mass this morning, we saw uprooted trees everywhere. One really positive thing, we're not supposed to get past 100 degrees again until after this weekend! It'll just be really muggy, which in my opinion is better than roasting.
