To say that man is created in the image and likeness of God means that man is called to exist "for" others, to become a gift. --John Paul II, Mulieris Dignitatem

Crash!
Is the sound that I heard about 15 minutes ago. Followed by a loud cry. I ran into Fritter's room (who had been napping) to find him sitting on the floor of his room surrounded by blankets. He climbed out of his crib! I checked him for any "damage", but other than a mildly bitten cheek, he's just fine. We might not get so lucky next time. His mattress lowers one more notch, but it doesn't sit very well there for whatever reason, and it's only about an inch lower. He's only 21 months old and not ready for a "big bed" yet. I know they make tents that you can put over the top of the crib, but is that the only solution here?

My first son climbed out of his crib at 19 months. We had him sleep on a mattress on the floor, but getting him to go to sleep was difficult.
Happy Anniversary!!!
I think it's time for a toddler bed. And a baby gate at the door to his room.
I haven't had a climber yet so I've got no advice besides those tents. . .it worked great for a friend of mine.
Oh. . .and you're the winner of my vintage bag and apron! Congrats! Email me your address and I'll get it to you as soon as possible.
