To say that man is created in the image and likeness of God means that man is called to exist "for" others, to become a gift.
--John Paul II, Mulieris Dignitatem
I've prayed for it from the moment I knew I was pregnant. It's here! Morning sickness (aka All-Day-Long-But-Worse-in-the-Evening-Sickness) has decided to grace me with it's presence. Now if I can just remember that this is a good thing.

Hope your morning/noon/&night sickness doesn't last too long! It seems that it affects you the same way it does me! If only it would just be "morning sickness"!;) Thankfully, though, I seem to be through the worst. Have you ever tried ginger tea? It seems to give me some relief.
I just found your site via a list of Catholic converts. (Us too!), and saw that you have all day sickness. Alot of folks swear by ginger tea, or ginger ale, but I had good luck with teaspoon sized sips of coca cola. Then I would be fine, just sick periodically throughout the day. It is a good thing, but hard when you are retching so. Go Bless, Julia

I know how you feel - trying to remember it's a good thing....
